Seven Deadly Sins Tag

This time Irina tagged me for a different tag and it's the Seven deadly sins tag. This one is pretty old but I still haven't done it so I'm doing it now. 

1. GREED: What is your most expensive beauty item?

Currently most expensive is my perfume, Thierry Mugler Innocent illusion. 

2. WRATH: Which beauty item do you have a love/hate relationship with?
Fake eyelashes, they look great but I absolutely hate putting them on. It always takes too much time and if I use individuals to make look both eyes the same.  

3. GLUTTONY: What brand makes up the biggest chunk of your make up collection?

Essence as you can see, these are just some products I use or have used by them, though nail polishes probably make them the biggest chunk :D

4. SLOTH: What product do you neglect to use due to laziness?

Definitely body lotion, they are my doom I know I should use them but they just stay neglected, oops ;)

5. PRIDE: Which beauty product gives you the most confidence?

Nail polish, but close second are lipsticks

6. LUST: Which item is at the top of your beauty wish list?
Some nice brush set or Givenchy Ange au demon perfume


7. ENVY: What make up product / look looks great on others but not on yourself?
Bronzer comes to mind, I still haven't made that to work out, maybe I don't know how to put it or I'm just too pale.

Review: Olay Refreshing face wash

Finally I am writing about this product I put it off for far too long. I'm using a third tube of this face wash and I don't intend to stop using it unless it gets discontinued or my skin changes so it doesn't suit it anymore. 

It's Olay (Olaz in some countries) refreshing face wash. On the tube it says for normal, dry and combination skin. I have a combination skin so keep that in mind while reading this. 

This is a clear gel that comes in a tube that contains usual 150 mL for a face cleansing product. One tube lasts me about three months and I use pea to walnut sized amount for one washing (great measurement technique ^_^). Amount depends whether I have heavier eye make up or not. It costs about 30 kn, depends on the store cheapest I got it was for 27 kn.

That being said this face wash is so mild even if some gets into your eye (but avoid it anyway) it doesn't sting or hurts the eyes, which is great. It has sodium lauroamphoacetate as a detergent instead of usual sodium laureth sulphate and it's much milder than the sulphate. After I clean my face with this gel it leaves my skin soft and really smooth. I never felt any itching or tightness which are usual signs that something dried out the skin. It's not comedogenic , which is really important, I've had some gels that caused me huge comedons :(. I'm really glad that at least in one product group I found my holy grail. If you decide to try it out I hope that it will work out for you as it works for me. Let me know what you think if you try it out. What's your favorite face wash?

Depend presentation at Kozmo

I was sad when I thought I wouldn't be in Zagreb for this but then my luck turned around and after a very chaotic week this came as a nice start of the weekend. So finally Depend nail polishes came to Croatia and they are available in some Kozmo stores.

We heard a little bit about the brand and polishes, I didn't need much introduction since you know I already have some of their polishes. I'll link swatches in the bottom of the post. 

 Instant mental wishlist :D 

We got regular line which costs 13 kn for 5 mL, also we got mirror line (foils), art liner ( thin brush) and my favorite holographic line for 25 kn for 5 mL of nail polish. 

On the presentation we also got to see some of the glitter and mirage collection but for now they are not available to buy, but I asked and they will be getting new things in the future. 

There was a nail technician who painted nails to those who were interested so I had to try some. I chose just to put some glitter over the coral nail polish that I already had on and on the thumbs I chose silver with pink and purple specks from the mirage line. Unfortunately I didn't write down exact numbers of these and I ruined some of the nails before they were dry hence the partial pictures only. Tomorrow in the Project 365 post I'll show you what's new from Depend in my collection and of course in the future expect some swatches :)

Essence Mission flower lip cream

I know I promised flocking powder first but I don't have proper photos of it yet so you get the lip cream first :) This pink lip cream is from Essence Mission flower from Guerilla gardening limited edition. 

This is how it looks in the shade. It's less pigmented than the lip creams from regular range, but this one is creamier so it doesn't dry out the lips. It has a fresh cool pink color. The smell is the same as other lip creams and not the one I particularly like. 

And this is how it looks in the sun. I like it and I wore it a couple of times already, sometimes I'll show you a look with it when I'm not this busy. I hope you have a calmer week than I do :) Did you get anything from this collection? 

Femina.hr beauty party at cappuccino spa

Who follows me on Facebook already knows that on Thursday I was at Cappuccinospa Wellness on Femina.hr beauty party. As per usual my pictures are not quite good because as usual I chat more than I take pictures ^_^

First we got an introduction and three lovely ladies, from left to right, are Zora from femina.hr, make up artist    Irena Herceg Gojić and Dijana Prtenjača who presented Pevonia Botanica products which they use at  Cappuccinospa. 

While Ana from Maybe's new start was getting her make up done, we tried out some of Pevonia Botanica products. Cydonia and I read all of the ingredients lists and we were quite satisfied. 

Second on the chair was Persa from Beauty and sweets with a bronzed look. All of the products used for the three looks are from Avon. 

And Lenka from Lenkina sminkaonica was the last with the eyeliner look. I only have this blurry photo but I wanted to include it so you know everything that was going on. If you are interested in professional photos and more about the event and the pictures of finished looks you can read about it here in femina.hr article.  We got a few things to try from Pevonia, Avon and Pantene and you'll read more about the products I like in the future.

Very Milky Way

I have so many pictures but so little time. These were easiest to pick and edit. So today I present you Golden Rose Selective 04 Milky way. 

A white nail polish, we all know that a good white is hard to find. In these pictures there are three coats with top coat in the natural lightning. If your nails don't have any ridges you might get away with two, but I needed a third one to even everything out. Regular drying time, fast drying top coat should speed up the process and it's an absolute must if you are going to layer it with neons, which is the main reason I bought it. 

You get 16 mL of nail polish for 20 kn in the pace where I bought it. Regular brush, the cap reminds me of OPI ones. The bottle has a weird triangular shape which is not great for holding or storage, but I don't store my polishes so neatly so I don't mind. If you are looking for a good white this might be the answer. I will still be on the lookout for two or maybe possibly one coater (HG) but I know those are very rare in the white family. So which is your favorite white nail polish?

Turqouise and purple eyes

I wish I had better pics, but I was in a hurry and this is all I have. I really wanted to show you make up I wore yesterday to the cinema. I went to see The place beyond the pines which I liked, but it might not be so good to everybody. If you are looking for action it's not really for you, it's pretty slow paced but you can see a lot of character, which is what I prefer. 

So, make up :) As you can see I did stronger eyes and and subtle blush and lips. I really like the combo of turquoise and purple. 

And a close up, if I had them I would have worn some false lashes but I still have to buy some full ones (I only have individuals). Can you recommend me some purple eye pencil that stays on really well, preferably waterproof, I want to avoid what happened to me yesterday that it quickly slipped off :( So what do you think?
