Itsy bitsy spider

It's not a good swatch, but I wanted to show you my Halloween mani and my pretty spider filled balloon :D Polish is Essence-Watch out and of course discontinued like too many of them. I always associate Halloween with orange so that explains choice of color. I am not masking nor going out 'cause it's not my thing XD but if you are somewhere out have lots of fun :)

Purple bastard

Well another one that I've been trying to capture right for ages and of course failed to succeed is S-he 384 in old bottles. I'm pretty sure that it's still in sales but I don't know the new number. This is purple with tiny blue and pink shimmer.

Artificial light with top coat, as you can see my nails are much shorter now, first I shortened them because they were in the way all the time, then some cracked so this is all I have now ^_^ but I'm trying to grow them back again

also artificial with top coat, formula and drying time were ok, now it's older and doesn't dry as quickly as it used to :(

sun, without top coat, as you can see old swatch by the length of my nails. Noticeable brushstrokes but nothing too bad. Why the title of the post, I don't know it seems like appropriate name for this polish :)

Forget me not

No I have not disappeared, I am just lazy, so that explains lack of posts :) I've shot this polish lots of times already and I'm never satisfied with the results. This time they were ok at least there is no tipwear or dents in the polish ^_^

As you can see from the picture this is Forget-me-not from Essence Blossoms etc... limited edition. I am not very happy with this being limited but I have a backup bottle and this one is already half empty :(

I really like the color but formula is so-so, little drippy for my taste. In all pictures there is a layer of top coat.

On the pictures it loses some purpulness and looks more blue and blue shimmer becomes hardly visible

All pictures except the second one are shot in more or less sunlight and second one is under artificial lightning. So I'm definitely not forgetting all of you and I'll try to post more often than I am now :)

Hello I am an addict

and I am addicted to blue, as this polish name (Blue Addicted) suggests. As you probably already know this is a dupe for Lippman Across the universe and I am thrilled that Essence did this because I don't have18$ for a bottle of polish and this was on my WL for forever.

Artificial lightning, no top coat. On the pictures (except the last one) there are four coats, I know it's a lot but it dries quickly.

Direct sunlight, with top coat. Multiple layers give a great depth to the polish.

Shade, with top coat. If you want a nice smooth surface it needs multiple layers of top coat, like most glitters this polish soaks it up.

One coat layered over two coats of My boyfriends jeans. In the future I'll probably just layer it or it will be gone really quickly. Whatever the case I know that I will buy a couple of bottles of this for back up before they decide to discontinue it like many of their great shades.
